Clarity Peak College invites applications from suitably qualified, competent, and motivated individuals for academic appointments in the following disciplines:
Mathematics
Appointments shall be made at either the Tutor or Lecturer level based on the applicant's academic qualifications, professional experience, teaching competence, and institutional staffing requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Lecturer/Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and academic support in accordance with the College's academic policies, curriculum standards, and educational philosophy. Academic staff are expected to promote excellence in teaching through rigorous theoretical instruction complemented by practical application, whilst contributing to student success, curriculum implementation, and continuous academic quality improvement.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidates shall be expected to:
Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, seminars, laboratory sessions, workshops, and other instructional activities in accordance with approved course outlines and academic schedules.
Implement the College's Theory-Before-Practice instructional philosophy by ensuring students acquire strong conceptual knowledge prior to practical application.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and instructional resources that support effective learning.
Prepare, administer, mark, and moderate examinations, assignments, projects, and other assessment activities in accordance with institutional policies.
Provide timely, constructive, and objective feedback to students regarding their academic performance.
Supervise laboratory work, field exercises, practical sessions, internships, capstone projects, or research activities where applicable.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, and other academic documentation as required by the College.
Participate in curriculum development, programme review, moderation, accreditation, and academic quality assurance activities.
Provide academic advising, mentorship, and professional guidance to students.
Uphold academic integrity, professional ethics, confidentiality, and institutional regulations.
Participate in departmental meetings, faculty activities, committees, and official College events.
Engage in continuous professional development and remain current with developments within their discipline.
Perform any other academic duties reasonably assigned by the Head of Department, Dean, Academic Registrar, or other authorised College officials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Tutor
Applicants must possess:
A Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution, normally with at least a Second Class classification or equivalent.
Demonstrated subject-matter competence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to professional growth and progression to Lecturer level.
Lecturer
Applicants should possess:
A Master's Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution. (A doctoral qualification will be an added advantage where applicable.)
Demonstrated mastery of the subject area.
Teaching experience in a higher education institution will be an added advantage.
Experience in curriculum development, academic assessment, or educational research will be considered beneficial.

Competence in the use of educational technologies and learning management systems is an added advantage.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment shall be subject to verification of academic and professional credentials.

Employment shall be governed by the policies, regulations, and conditions of service of Clarity Peak College.
