1. Course Description
This course builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in Digital Media Production I by developing students' competencies in advanced multimedia content creation, post-production, digital publishing, and cross-platform storytelling. Students learn to plan, produce, edit, and distribute professional-quality multimedia content for journalism, corporate communication, and digital media environments.
The course emphasises integrated storytelling through text, photography, graphics, audio, video, motion graphics, and interactive media. Students explore advanced production workflows, collaborative media production, live streaming, audience engagement, analytics, and emerging technologies while applying professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Practical laboratory sessions provide extensive hands-on experience using industry-standard production software and equipment to create multimedia projects suitable for online publication across websites, social media, and mobile platforms.
The course prepares students for advanced practice in multimedia journalism, television production, digital content creation, strategic communication, and media entrepreneurship.
