1. Course Description
This course introduces students to the principles, tools, and workflows of digital media production for journalism and communication. Students develop foundational skills in planning, producing, editing, and publishing multimedia content for digital platforms using industry-standard software and production techniques.
The course covers digital media concepts, multimedia storytelling, audio and video fundamentals, graphic design principles, digital publishing, content management systems, and media production workflows. Students learn to integrate text, images, audio, video, and graphics into coherent digital media products while adhering to professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Practical laboratory sessions provide hands-on experience in multimedia production, audio recording, video editing, graphic creation, and digital content publishing.
The course prepares students for advanced study in multimedia journalism, broadcast production, television production, online journalism, digital storytelling, and media innovation.
