1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course develops students’ ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and ethically in academic, professional, and workplace contexts.
It introduces academic writing conventions, research literacy, professional correspondence, presentation skills, and collaborative communication. Emphasis is placed on clarity, structure, coherence, and purpose across a range of communication settings.
The course is designed as a cross-disciplinary foundational requirement supporting students across all academic programmes, including science, engineering, business, and the social sciences.
