1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
Managerial Accounting II builds upon the foundational concepts introduced in Managerial Accounting I by focusing on advanced techniques used for organisational planning, decision-making, and performance control.
The course emphasises the use of accounting information to support strategic and operational decisions relating to cost management, pricing, investment appraisal, budgeting, and performance evaluation. Students develop the ability to analyse both financial and non-financial information to inform managerial decisions in manufacturing, service, and public sector organisations.
The course integrates theoretical concepts with practical problem-solving, equipping students to translate accounting information into effective managerial insight and evidence-based decision-making.
